City Museum at the Gewandhaus
A city-history collection in the Renaissance Gewandhaus on the Altstadtmarkt.
The City Museum at the Gewandhaus documents the history of Brunswick from the Welfs to the present day. The highlight is the building itself - a Renaissance structure with a richly decorated east façade. Inside are models of the medieval city, guild altars and household goods from several centuries.
